It was invented in 1952 and was the first metal anchor that could be knocked directly into the wall without any drilling. It was a true innovation back then “Ohne Bohren”, which means without drilling and became the short version “OBO” part of our name. Until today, this spirit of innovation is not only part of our connection and fastening systems but of any OBO product. This is also proven in an impressive manner by our cable tidies and cable glands.

GRIP Cable Tidy

The GRIP plastic cable tidies are for general use. They are suitable for wall and ceiling mounting and support users in the proper and safe installation of cables, even under difficult circumstances. They are also available in a hardly flammable version. 
Their moulded fastening element can be fastened by using knock-in anchors or a gas pressure nail gun.

GRIP M Cable Tidy, Metal

The GRIP M series consists of metal cable tidies which ensure a high mechanical stability, even in case of fire. They are suitable for a safe mounting above fire protection ceilings. The GRIP M cable tidies are also approved as a cable-specific variant for the maintenance of electrical function to DIN 4102 part 12.

With its movable closing strap, the GRIP cable tidy can be opened and closed again and again by applying only light pressure. This means that you can remove a cable easily and at any time from fixed wall and ceiling installations, or also install a new cable at a later date.

Cable Gland V-Tec VM and V-TEC VM L

The quickest and most convenient way of providing strain relief and tightness with cable glands on junction boxes and housings is with the tried-and-trusted V-TEC VM OBO cable glands from O-line. With the integrated sealing lip and the special OBO slat technology, protection class IP68 is achieved. Strain relief and tightness have been tested to DIN EN 62444. The connecting threads of the cable glands are metric or PG and are therefore suitable for universal use. Once screwed in place, the installation is there forever, as the optimum thread adjustment with the right pitch ensures permanent resistance to shaking.

The V-TEC VM and V-TEC VM L can be applied from private housing with junction boxes up to industrial applications in the distributor cabinet.

Separable Cable Glands V-TEC TB

The V-TEC TB, just like any other V-TEC glands, ensure a secure sealing of the cable. The splitting of the cable gland makes the installation of pre-terminated cables or function cables as easy as possible. The V-TEC TB is also unbeatable when a missing or defective cable gland must be replaced or supplemented in an existing installation. There is no need to disassemble the pre-mounted cables, it can be installed without interrupting the production process.
