New electrical infrastructure for the Diospi Suyana mission hospital in Peru

OBO supports the medical care of the indigenous inhabitants

It was the summer of 2021 when OBO received a cry for help from the Andes: The Diospi Suyana mission hospital needed urgent support. The clinic tries to improve the medical care of the indigenous inhabitants and, since its foundation in 2007, has been able to treat some 427,000 patients. In 2021, a new oxygen system to supply Covid patients needed to be commissioned. For this, the technical infrastructure required a comprehensive overhaul. OBO reacted immediately and confirmed the donation of the desperately needed material. Just a couple of weeks later, the shipping containers with the OBO materials were on their way to Peru.

You can find further information on our support for the Diospi Suyana mission hospital here. Did you know that OBO supports countless social and cultural sustainability projects? These include, for example, the Christoph Bettermann Schools in Uganda and the mobile warm rooms in Ukraine. Take a look here. We are also active in the fields of ecological and economic sustainability and, under the motto "Think further. Act sustainably." we are pushing forward countless initiatives and measures.
